(CNSNews.com) – John P. Holdren, director of the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy, advocated having the Federal Communications Commission force radio and television stations to surrender free time for advertisements calling attention to what he called “the population-resource-environment crisis.”
He cited, as examples of the type of advertising he was talking about, ads produced by Planned Parenthood, the Sierra Club, and Zero Population Growth (ZPG).
Holdren made his argument for using the FCC to advance his vision for population control and environmentalism in the 1977 book, Ecoscience: Population, Resources, Environment. Holdren co-wrote the book with renowned population-control advocates Paul R. Ehrlich and Anne H. Ehrlich.

“NOT EVIL JUST WRONG: the True Cost of Global Warming Hysteria” is a new documentary film the Green Movement does not want you to see. The film’s producers have launched a Home Movie Premiere party and the date for the premiere is October 18. However, you can purchase the DVD and show the film at your church, community center, or home at any time convenient to you.
Ann McElhinney is one of the producers of Not Evil Just Wrong, a documentary that shows the disregard for human life that is rampant among the green movement.
“I think the environmental movement is…a religion. It’s an alternative religion, and it’s a religion that elevates plant life and animals to a level that is on a par with humanity. And I think that’s a really dangerous message,” she contends. “It ignores humanity — it worse than ignores humanity. Environmentalists think that humans are the problem, that we are bad. They have this notion that the world would be better without humanity. This is clearly not true, and it’s a very anti-Christian message.”—-Source: One News Now
JOURNALIST GETS HIS MICROPHONE CUT OFF
One of the film’s producers, Phelim McAleer, an Irish-born journalist and member of the Society of Environmental Journalists, recently asked Al Gore at a conference in Madison, WI if Gore would be making corrections to his film “An Inconvenient Truth” in response to the British Court case that found significant errors in the film.
Instead of answering McAleer’s question that Gore doesn’t want to answer, McAleer’s mic was cut off! Yesterday, McAleer was interviewed on the Glenn Beck radio show. Here’s the exchange caught on tape:
